Le millésime 2022 sera marqué par la précocité et la sècheresse : le fort ensoleillement et les records des températures ont amené à une maturité des raisins rapides. Les sorties de grappes ont été belles : la floraison de nombreux vignobles s’est déroulée dans des conditions climatiques plus favorables que l’an dernier mais la production du bassin, qui s’annonçait un peu supérieure à la moyenne quinquennale, pourrait être revue à la baisse en raison de la sécheresse qui affecte les grains de raisin
Lorsqu’elle est manque d’eau, la vigne se dessèche, se bloque : le « stress hydrique » lui fait perdre ses feuilles et elle cesse de nourrir ses grappes et la taille des baies diminue.
